Before I saw daddy...

...and after

I love my daddy!

Practicing good posture.

The splints are there to keep her from bending her arms at the elbows and curving her back.

Back to the cage. She is learning to bear weight through her legs and feet.

What a face!

Working out my legs.

Today was a good day. She is seizure free so far today and no additional medication has been given to her. Thank you for praying for her. She got tired and sleepy about an hour into therapy, but went the entire time without a nap. Vickie, her therapist for the last 2 days, has been working on getting Iliana to use her back muscles and sit correctly. She normally sits up but with a curved back and seems to depend on one side of the muscles of her back instead of all of them. So today they worked on good posture and strengthening her back. She finally did smile today once she saw Dwight. I love the picture of her reaching out to him. It's as though she is using her body language to tell him how much she missed him. We are all enjoying his visit. The children are gone with him now. Until tomorrow...
