TGIF!!! This has been an exhausting but rewarding week. Iliana has really had to be tough to endure so much physical work. I know that she is enduring due to your prayers. There was some concern about putting her in the TheraSuit earlier this week because she had had the seizures. The TheraSuit increases body temperature and blood pressure because it is intense input and stress for the body. It can cause a child with a seizure disorder to begin seizing. Praise the Lord she has not had any additional seizures and has been able to work in the TheraSuit for the last couple of days. This week's focus has been on strengthening Iliana's back and teaching her how to shift weight from one leg to another while standing and crawling. She has done an amazing job this week and I admire her determination and her desire to never give up. We are looking forward to what God will do in the next 2 weeks of therapy, but more so, we are looking forward to a relaxing weekend in preparation for next week. We miss home and thank you for all of your love and prayers.
